Easy/medium difficulty challenges. I enjoyed a few of them, the misc challenges were great! There were some decent web challs as well. However, a few things went wrong:
- Many challenges required an unreasonable amount of guessing, making them pointless and not fun to solve
- Most of the web challenges were painfully slow
- A challenge was patched during the CTF due to an unintended solve
- Hostile admins in tickets and general
- Bad CTFd theme (just a personal opinion)
I know it's (hopefully) their first time organizing a CTF, but it seems like they didn't put any effort into it at all.
I would like to reassure mr Abello that the patch wasn't meant to stop people from solving the challenge simply because the solve was unintended, but because it wrongly had an rce on a container with a writable File system, the patch was made to make sure the challenge kept going, you also need to consider that the team was running on few hours of sleep and needed to fix the issue as soon as possible :)
