With the aim of expanding the base of automotive cyber security personnel, "Automotive CTF (Capture The Flag) Japan", a competition of security expertise and technical skills, will be newly held this year.
　The objective of the contest is to raise awareness and recognition of cyber security, recruit cyber security personnel, provide training opportunities to improve expertise, and contribute to the creation of communication opportunities for highly specialized security personnel within and outside the industry.
　This contest is positioned as a Japan qualifier for the "Automotive CTF 2024 Finals" to be held in the U.S. in October 2024, and the top two teams in the "Automotive CTF Japan" finals will be given the right to participate in the "Automotive CTF 2024 Finals. This event is sponsored by METI (a Japanese government ministry).
