ShellCTF is a nationwide online Capture-The-Flag (CTF) cybersecurity competition
organized as part of Reflexons Tech Fest by the Department of Computer Science &
Engineering, University of Calcutta.

The event follows a Jeopardy-style format and is designed to test participants
across a range of real-world cybersecurity domains, including Web Exploitation,
Cryptography, Digital Forensics, OSINT, Reverse Engineering, and Binary
Exploitation (Pwn).

ShellCTF aims to promote ethical hacking practices, problem-solving skills, and
hands-on learning among students and cybersecurity enthusiasts. The competition
is open to beginners as well as experienced players, with challenges spanning
multiple difficulty levels.

Participants may compete individually or in teams while adhering strictly to
the event’s ethical guidelines and fair-play rules.
