Second edition of Phonix Viper Nova CTF. A physical unique event not only on the way the ctf takes place, but unique cause it's only one stage so no qualifiers.
This time in Bucharest, not Timisoara. Bigger, better and bolder. This time we include 150 challenges, split in 2 tracks easy and hard. Total prize pool of 6000 euro. For hard track the following prizes:

1. 2000 euro
2. 1500 euro
3. 1000 euro

And for the easy track:

1. 750 euro
2. 500 euro
3. 250 euro

We keep same dynamic of mentorship only for the easy track, which is made of the following rule: during the 3 day competition at multiple points we’ll freeze the scoreboard, and well split the teams in 2, so 50/50. Than say group A will have to teach or explain to group b a certain challenge randomly chosen. Now if group B manages to solve it they get a lower amount of points and group A gets an extra 50 points. They have on hour to get extra points if they manage to solve that challenge .

For the advanced track, it will be classic jeopardy.

What can you expect this year ?

Same topics plus some inovation: We keep the car hacking, bomb defusal, satellite hacking and mainframe hacking. We add fault injection, robot hacking. For new and or seasoned players they don't have to fear to participate because we also include pwn, web, crypto , rev, forensics.

You can also expect arduino and embedded pwn, docker escape, ics&scada too.
