> We very much appreciate your interest in the RUSecure CTF Contest. Unfortunately, in order to prepare the resources necessary for the contest, we must close registration a day or so prior to the beginning of the contest. However, we will be offering another contest this Spring and you do not have to participate in the fall preliminary round in order to participate in the spring qualifying round.

Of course they did not say it before !

Noraj, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you however we were unaware of the response that we would receive for this CTF as it is designed for high school and community college teams in the Virginia area, and we had many out of country teams trying to enter. If you are a high school or community college team in or around VA we would love to have you enter our qualifiers in the spring.
