Email verification email showed up after 30 minutes of signing up.
Clicked link and was just taken to landing page of CTF. No visible errors, but when looking at the URL is shows "...?error=access_denied&error_code=otp_expired&error_description=Email+link+is+invalid+or+has+expired#error=access_denied&error_code=otp_expired&error_description=Email+link+is+invalid+or+has+expired".
Everyone who is having sign in/up issues probably dodged a bullet. If they can't setup a simple onboarding system, what do you think the quality of challenges are?

So if I signed up for the event on CTFtime and not on the official website I can't participate?
I managed to verify my email, but you cannot create a team after the CTF started. You cannot even see the challenges after the start
Hi all,
This is the organizer of the contest. Sorry for any inconveniences with the email signup system. There was a crash in the email SMTP system which has now been resolved and there shouldn’t be any issues going forward. Our contest was designed so that you must sign up for the contest before it started on our website where the contest was posted two weeks prior, however based on user feedback future contests will now allow users to sign up mid-contest. Challenge difficulty was intentionally made easier for our first contests, however going forward challenges will be harder. Again, sorry for any inconveniences or confusion and we hope you will join us in February for our next contest!

You need to fix the scoreboard. The rankings are random and don’t reflect who solved the challenges first.
