On the AIS registration site the darn captcha's not working. How does it work!
Nev Mind
For the benefit of anyone else, the captcha has the form of a math problem, and the answer is the result.
e.g.
CAPTCHA: "8+1="
ANSWER: "9"
******************** Attention! ********************
ASIS CTF is open for everyone, and you can register, submit flags, get score and especially CTFTime points,
But Bitcoins will only be awarded to top 3 teams in Finals that are also chosen in ASIS Qualification round ! Read more at: http://asis-ctf.ir/rules/
Great CTF! The tasks were really interesting! Crypto tasks demanded knowledge of contemporary real-live crypto systems, opposed to many other CTFs with tasks about ancient of home-made cyphers.
@x0w1 Glad you enjoyed :)
I'd like to thank the ASIS this great CTF, there were a lot of nice challenges. I think they improved their pwn challenges more than the quals, especially much more compared to previous years (when there were no 'traditional' pwn challenges at all if I remember correctly).
I think crypto challenges were also especially good, some of them hard, but solvable. For example we had to create a fix for Wireshark to patch it and solve Giloph in a better way. (Btw this patch was merged into the master branch and will be released soon).
So in overall, although it is an obvious conflict of interests as we won this CTF, I think ASIS CTF improved a lot in the last year, I had fun solving the challenges and I truly believe it should worth more than 20pts.
@KT, Thanks :)
Btw what`s up with the missing scoreboard? The CTF was almost two weeks ago...
