They banned 14 teams that were supposedly "exchanging flags". In the ticket - they wrote something else privately, something else publicly on discord. It looks like they made room on the scroreboard for those who almost made it. I wonder what the sponsors will think about it.
COMEDY - organizers accused of sharing flags and banned 10+ teams; they ignored the fact that it was most likely caused by their infrastructure assigning wrong instances to different teams or wrong flags to instances
Broken "custom" plugins and implementation, challenges going up and down being broken, accusing 14 teams for flag sharing. Telling us to open ticket to prove ourselves and they were sending 1 message every 10 hours without being able to have a conversation. Changing decision for what to do with the suspicious teams very often, while saying every of their decision was final. They were sleeping half of the ctf and the discord server chat was full of hints and solutions and they didnt know anything
The infrastructure was a disaster— container issues that caused tasks to appear and disappear unpredictably. On top of that, they unfairly banned 14 teams under vague accusations of "flag sharing," while their explanations varied between tickets, private messages, and public Discord statements.
We almost won worst ctf bingo if you know what is it...
This CTF was a complete disaster—broken infrastructure, disappearing/reappearing challenges, constant file and flag format changes, and chaotic task updates. Banning 14 teams for "flag sharing" while their own system was assigning incorrect instances and flags is just comedy
I sadly have to say that I’m disappointed with what happened during this event.
Not only some challenges were broken, replaced few times, but there were also issues with flags, few teams in some easy challenge got assigned with the same flag, as a result we got disqualified.
Talking with the organisers about the issue wasn’t enough, after providing solutions and correct flag.
I hope this never happens to any team in the future.
It’s devastating feeling to be called someone you’re not, after doing your best.
Absolute dumpster fire. Zero professionalism from the admins. Rude responses, accusations of flag sharing, banning teams when the final decision was a point deduction, forging evidence against those teams and enabling slowmode in the group chat to do damage control. Absolutely ridiculous! Sponsors should be aware of this situation.
THEY banned 24 teams, no 14!!!
The reverse/catSeaBank challenge was broken. It took them 10 hours to realize that the original version didn't have a flag, and they silently replaced the challenge. Very poor CTF. They can't admit their mistake.
